Who is responsible?

All of us know about the recent incident (Bridge collapsed) happened in CWG Village in South Delhi. It is the professional way of showing to the world that what we are capable of? When this Commonwealth Games  project was handed over to our so called top ministry personnel, did our Prime Minister realize that India will have shameful face one day.
Yes, it is obvious that Mr. Suresh Kalamadi, who has never taken this project seriously. He didn’t even plan perfectly for his CWG Project work. It was Rs. 25,000 Crore mega project which India took. Instead of focusing on getting the work done according to the benchmark laid by CWG officials, our so called ministers were busy in making their own pocket. They do not feel to give time, energy, resources and their personal attention to coordinate. They have reached to certain peak point where they don’t even bother about their fame, because money is everything to them.
The tide, neat and lashing at India's self-esteem appears to be changing in the last 12 hours. This happens all of sudden when Prime Minister himself visited CWG village and inspected every aspects of the facility and decided to remove Mr. Kalamadi.
We are lucky that India has proved back its efficacy and the CWG countries have said “yes” to the game.

Big B’s National Award winning for the 4th time.

Breaking news was flashing……. Amitabh Bachchan bags National Award for Paa”.
Amitabh Bachchan, a Legend who is working with Indian Cinema since 1969 and also who has given us countless number of blockbuster hits, no word is suitable for him to describe. “Paahas given him the fourth National Award in 57th National Film Awards, whereas the other three were for “Saat Hindustani”, “Agnipath” and “Black”. Each of the above films created history for their unique story and of course for the mind blowing acting of Mr. Bachchan. Out of all his movies, Paa is somewhat different & its story is unusual and that too Mr. Bachchan acted as a 13 years old child. It sounds something odd, but in the movie he proved that he can make the character alive which was somewhat impossible. Although the credit goes to Mr. Balki, Director of Paa, but it is the actor, who has turned director’s imagination to reality and I strongly believe that Mr. Bacchan has done it.
Congratulation Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. We all of your well wishers would love see your same rocking performance in future.
Congratulations to all the other Award Winners in 57th NFA.

Happy feelings for being Awarded as "Best Teacher of TJC"

A small view of T. John College

It is being four and half years almost I have been serving T. John College as Hotel Management Faculty since 2006. I have been watching the growth of T. John Group of Institutions. We have course "Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM) - 4 years" recognized by Bangalore University and affiliated to AICTE.
In fact I must tell you that BHM was the first course started in T. John College in the year 1993. It has its own reputation and image.

This college has given me opportunity to learn so many things beyond my regular teaching activities. Out of which most importants are: -
  • Procedure for affiliation related works to Bangalore University.
  • AICTE affiliation details.
  • ISO auditing and its various clauses.
  • NAAC Accreditation and its correspondences.
For my sincere and hard work, College has given me the post of ISO Coordinator for T. John College. It is a prestigious post which holds me responsible for Quality Updating and Quality Improvement to our College.

Even after getting good exposure also somewhere I was suffering from depression and frustration because I felt in spite of doing lots of work for the college, management didn't notice me.

Finally it was 07th September 2010, when everyone in T. John College were celebrating Ethnic Day and Teachers Day, Dr. George Easaw, Principal and Dr. Nilanjana Basu, Vice-Principal of T. John College announced my name as "The Best Teacher of T. John College" for the UG Category along side Mrs. Mohini Bhat as Best Teacher for PG Category.

It is my happy feelings today, not only for getting awarded as Best Teacher, but also I have realized that sincere and hard work will definitely pay one day.

Kolkata - the Cosmopoliton City

Kolkata, (previously known as Calcutta), a city of Joy, Capital city of West Bengal, an ancient city in India is a dream city of everyone. It is the second largest city in India. It was the former capital of India while ‘East India Company’ was ruling India. It is a heart-throb city of every Bengali.
It has been the witness of most famous tourist spots, such as Birla Planetarium, Shaheed Minar, Howrah Bridge, Vidyasagar Setu, Bali Bridge, Fort William, Marble Palace, Dakhshineshwar Kali Temple, Kalighat Kali Temple, Belur Math, Tram Transport, Maidan, etc. etc.
Kolkata is still being the famous for its yummy Rasogolla, tasty Bhapa ilish & aloo posto, savory Phuchka
Although it is said that Bengalis celebrate 13 occasions in 12 months, Durga Puja is being the great occasion of Festival Celebration for all Bengalis.
In my recent visit to Kolkata, I found that in-spite of having several reasons for joy, our Kolkata is getting spoiled with terrific increase of traffic jam day by day, which ruins the daily routine of every individual, and it also increases noise & air pollution. In today’s scenario where we are fighting against Global Warming, there is no hope of reducing such pollution which could be the main source of global warming. God knows what will happen to our beautiful city in future..
