Today is 08 May 2012, in Bengali Year it is 25 Baishakh (the first month of Bengali New Year) and today is the birthday of honorable literature Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941).
Tagore was a genius in literature, some of his famous novels are Manasi (1890), Sonar Tari (1894), Gitanjali (1910), Gitimalya (1914), Balaka (1916), etc. Besides his popularity in literature, he also wrote musical dramas, dance dramas, essays, autobiographies. His musical interest was tremendously touchy to all the musical lovers, especially Bengali People. His music is known as "Rabindra Sangeet".
In the year 1993, Rabindranath Tagore was awarded the most prestigious prize in literature, "The Nobel Prize". He was the First Indian to receive Nobel Prize in Literature.

I can say so many things about Rabindranath Tagore, but it will not be sufficient. He is an icon to everyone, whoever loves literature. His songs are melody and touchy to all our hearts. I like his all songs, but few are most touchy to my heart..........like..
