House Keeping Activity - "Eagle Eye Test"

I have conducted an activity for our House Keeping employees on 22 August' 2015. The activity name is "Eagle's Eye Test". This activity was for the supervisors and associates of House Keeping Department. 

I had complete active support of our Executive House keeper to co-ordinate the activity. Myself and Exe. Housekeeper kept 20 objects inguest room at hidden places randomly and later asked individual employee to do "eye for detail" checking in the room within specific time limit. 

This activity was to develop and increase the sense of Eye for details checking among associates and supervisors. 

The winner was rewarded in Town Hall Meet.

Farewell of Mr. Bharathi Perumal, EAM- Food & Beverage

It was 20th August 2015, the last working day of Mr. Bharathi Perumal, E.A.M- Food & Beverage of Radisson HITEC City Hyderabad. After serving to the hotel for more than a year, Mr. Bharathi decided to move on with his career in abroad.

If I need to describe Bharathi, I would say that he is very energetic person. I have never seen the second Food & Beverage Service head who is tremendously energetic and proactive in nature. He scarified many days and nights to ensure the guest services are up-to standard and perfect. He prefers to take responsibility by himself rather depending on others. 

He is a go- getter guy, doesn't get carried away with negative thoughts, doesn't bow down to any challenges, accepts all reality in operation and keeps his team motivated.

Dear Bharathi, I am surely going to miss you...... Be at your best always, buddy...All our Best Wishes are with you...

Industrial Visit by Westin College of Hotel Management

Hotel Management curriculum has a segment to the students to have their industrial visit to several 5 star hotels, so as to familiar with the departments of a hotel. 

Westin College of Hotel Management, Hyderabad is one of the prominent hotel management college, the students of which visited recently at our Hotel for an industrial visit.

The students were taken around to show various departments and operations. A high-tea was arranged for all of them followed by an interactive question-answer session.

New Joinees' High-Tea with General Manager

On 19th August 2015, we organized a high-tea session for new joinees (of last three months) with General Manager in one of our banquet hall. In the forum, GM directly interacted with each and every new joinees and motivated them through discussion. 

Post the meet, there was a high-tea session with snacks.

This type of session helps the new employees to stay motivated at work.

C.S.R. Activity by Radisson HITEC City on Independence Day

On occasion of Independence Day, all HODs of Radisson HITEC City visited ROSE School, a school for socially backward children to study and is run by Rotary Club of India. We spent our quality time with 60 children of ROSE school. We were the part of their flag hoisting ceremony and cultural program (dancing and singing by the children). 

After the cultural program, we distributed laddus (prepared in the hotel kitchen) to all the children , teachers, and the neighbors who were present over there for the event.

We also distributed gift packets (gift set of Notebook, Pencil, Eraser, Sharpner, Scale and Pen purchased by us) among the children.

2015 Independence Day Celebration @ Radisson HITEC City

We celebrated 69th Independence Day at our Hotel Radisson HITEC City Hyderabad with flag hoisting by dignitaries. All employees and HODs in presence of some of our in-house guests did flag hoisting in porch area of our hotel. 

Post flag hoisting, sweets were distributed to the employees.

A special theme menu was served in cafeteria on occasion of Independence Day.

Annual Sarovar Hotel's Housekeeper's Meet @ Radisson HITEC City

Radisson Hyderabad HITEC City conducted the two days conference for Sarovar Annual Executive Housekeeper's Meet on 12th and 13th August' 2015. It was 2nd Annual Meet by the Executive Housekeepers. 

I conducted a session on "Learning through videos" on the first day, in which six video clips were shown to the participants and after each video clip there were discussion on learnings from the clips. 

Also I have actively looked after the meet from other aspects.
