Bird Engineering...................Natural...

While planning to build a Dream House, we all think for engineering plans and strategies besides the time factors and manpower requirements. Especially a strong engineering plan is required. But for a bird, nothing of all the above are required, because they make their own house by themselves, so creative they are of course by the nature.

Here are few snaps of how birds make their dream nest day by day....

Thanks to the professional who captured these pics for a week from the beginning till ending.

A Man with No Bad Habits.....A small & funny story..

A man was waiting for a taxi. A beggar came along and asked him for some money. The man ignored him. But being a professional, the beggar kept on pestering him. The man became irritated when he realized that the beggar would not leave him alone unless he parts with some money. Suddenly an idea struck him.

He told the beggar, "I do not have money, but if you tell me what you want to do with the money, I will certainly help you." "I would have bought a cup of tea", replied the beggar.
The man said, "Sorry man. I can offer you a cigarette instead of tea". He then took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and offered one to the beggar.
The beggar told, "I don't smoke as it is injurious to health."
The man smiled and took a bottle of whisky from his pocket and told the beggar, "Here, take this bottle and enjoy the stuff. It is really good".
The beggar refused by saying, "Alcohol muddles the brain and damages the liver". The man smiled again.
He told the beggar, "I am going to the race course. Come with me and I will arrange for some tickets and we will place bets. If we win, you take the whole amount and leave me alone".
As before, the beggar politely refused the latest offer by saying, "Sorry sir, I can't come with you as betting on horses is a bad habit."
Suddenly the man felt relieved and asked the beggar to come to his home with him. Finally, the beggar's face lit up in anticipation of receiving at least something from the man. But he still had his doubts and asked the man, "Why do you want me to go to your house with you".

Know how Hotel Star Classification differs.....

FHRAI has the unique classification criteria for the hotels to get their STAR categories.....
Here is a guide to know how hotel star classification obtains......
These hotels are small and usually managed and operated by the owner. The atmosphere will be more personal and the accommodations basic.

These hotels are generally part of a chain that offers consistent quality and limited amenities. They are small or medium in size and rooms will have a phone and TV.
Room Service is not a given option but a small restaurant on site can be expected.

These hotels are usually located next to major expressways, business centers or shopping areas. They offer spacious rooms and decorative lobbies. On-site restaurants may be average in size, but will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Valet and room service are usually available.

One can expect formal and large hotels with excellent facilities.
Above average service, beautiful furnished rooms, restaurants, room service, valet parking, fitness center and a concierge are some amenities to expect.

These hotels are made to pamper. They offer the highest degree of personal service and elegance.
The rooms are equipped with quality linens, all electronic gadgets, Jacuzzi tubs and in-room video facilities. These are multiple restaurants on site with extensive, gourmet menus, and room service is also available 24/7. A fitness center, swimming pool, valet parking and concierge service are mandatory for these type of hotels to attain their rating.

For all the hotels it is necessary to maintain the 10 basic following factors:
  1. Ambience
  2. Lay Out
  3. Array of Services to offer
  4. Air Conditioning
  5. Hygienic Aspects
  6. Restaurant and other food outlets
  7. Facilities for the physically challenged guests
  8. General Manager & his team
  9. Qualified and Well mannered staff
  10. Safety and Security

Rajindera Kumar, ex-president of FHRAI

Mr. Rajindera Kumar had been as  President of FHRAI (Federation of Hotels and Restaurants Association of India) from October 24, 2009 to September 30, 2010. He was also the Director of The Ambassador Hotel in New Delhi.

In one interview to him in his opinion how to make a hotel good, he replied, "I think what makes a good hotel is if it is well planned, tightly run and brilliantly managed. Whether it's the ambiance, daily maintenance and upkeep or even the little things; but it should be tightly run. The staff should be highly motivated and positive and guest satisfaction should be on top of the priority list. All of this rests on the General Manager (GM) and his team. If the GM isn't capable enough, the hotel will never do well".

A little brief about him...... He is the former director of Haryana Tourism Corporation and Chandigarh Industrial & Tourism Corporation Ltd. (CITCO), Chandigarh. PLEASE PASS THE BISCUITS..........A Sweet Story....

Please Pass the Biscuits

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then.  And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad.  I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed!  Yet all my dad did was reach for his Biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school.

I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits.  And I'll never forget what he said:  "Honey, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned.  He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she's real tired.  And besides... A burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

You know, life is full of imperfect things... And imperfect people.  I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else.  What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other’s faults and choosing to celebrate each others differences is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

So...please pass me a biscuit. And yes, the burned one will do just fine! And please pass this along to someone who has enriched your life... I just did!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets... Love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who don't.

ENJOY LIFE NOW - IT HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE!
