Town Hall Meet - April'15 @ Radisson HITEC City

On 20th April 2015, we have conducted Town Hall Meet for our employees at Radisson Hyderabad HITEC City in one of our Banquet Venue. This time the Town Hall Meet was conducted by our Engineering Team lead by Mr. Kasi Rao, Chief Engineer of RDHC.

The special attractions for this Town Hall Meet were magic show by one of our Engineering employee and a group performance by the entire Engineering team.

The meet was well coordinated and designed with unique theme.

We discovered many new talents among our engineering employees.

Actor Amitabh Bacchan conferred with Padma Vibhushan

Mr. Amitabh Bacchan, a name which is popular in film industry, a legendary actor who has delivered countless super hit movies to us, a man who is well known for his unique personality and a voice which will wake up everyone with confident, is conferred with country's second highest civilian honour "PADMA VIBHUSHAN" in April' 2015. 

The legendary actor had already received Padma Shree Award in 1984 and Padma Bhushan in 2001.

In the following picture, Mr. Bacchan was getting honored with Padma Vibhushan by our President, Mr. Pranav Mukherjee.

Team Building Activities for Front Office Employees

On March 20, 2015, I conducted couple of Team Building Activities for our Front Office Department employees in one of our banquet venue. 

We divided the participants into two teams to perform the tasks separately. Two activities we played, one "Blind Drawing" and second was "Building Paper Bridge".

The learnings from first activity was to know about effective communication skills, coordination skills and understanding the team better. 

The learning from second activity were Leadership, Planning, Coordination, Time Management, Achieving Target, Creativity and Team Work.

Participants learned a lot from both the activities about soft skills which they perform at their daily work. 

To maintain the team balance we have added few trainees to the team of Front Office, so as to increase the team size to perform effectively.

Chess Competition for Employees @ Radisson HITEC City

We at Radisson HITEC City conducted a Chess Tournament from 11 to 14 March 2015 in our Training Room. We had approximately 30 employees participated for the competition. The tournament was scheduled with league matches, followed by quarter final, semifinal and final.

Among all the participants, the winner was Mr. Kasi Rao, Chief Engineer of our hotel. 

The winner and runner up was given with trophies in Town Hall Meet.

Town Hall Meet @ Radisson (March 2015)

Like every month, this month also we conducted the Town Hall Meet for our employees in one of our banquet hall. This month, we did something different, we had given the responsibility to conduct the Town Hall Meet to House Keeping Department. 

To break the monotonous way of conducting the same, we thought of having it bit different. And of course, the credit goes to Mr. Banerjee, our General Manager.

Imagining in different context, our House Keeping Team did special to have a group performance in form of dance by H/K associates, and the truth is some of the associates are just new, joined our hotel just a week back. They fully anticipated and performed in front of the entire audience.

Kudos to them.....
