PURI, a tourist place in Odisha, most popular for the multiple tourisms – Cultural Tourism, Historical Tourism and Beach Tourism. Puri’s Lord Jagannath Temple attracts the cultural tourists, Konarak temples and other few forts attract the tourists interested in Historic Evolutions as the sculptures on the temple walls depict various transformations of emperors and their cultures, and finally the Puri Beach attracts tourists of Nature Lovers.
It was my first visit to Puri. On April 15, 2012, I and my parents along with two of my friends had been to Puri. We reached Puri early in the morning and had a fantastic View of Sunrise on Sea shore.
We stayed in a Hotel called “Victoria Club Hotel”, a good and economic hotel to stay. The best part of our staying was Sea View, the hotel was just beside the Sea-shore.
I was accompanied by my parents, my friend ABIR & and one of his cousin.
We went to Lord Jagannath Temple for Darshana, where our guide cum Pujari oriented us in and around of the temple with history related to each segments of the temple.
We had a nice sun bath on the beach, in the evening there use to be evening market on the beach popular for selling specialist shares, gift articles made out of Shankh and others.
