A Fantastic Team's Day-Outing in Chandigarh

It was 17 December 2015, the last day of Sarovar's Annual HR & Trainer's Meet in Chandigarh. We all HR and Trainer team members were having our fun filled day-out. 

We first went to Pinjore Garden, which is located in Pinjore of Panchkula district in Haryana. In easy way to navigate, this garden is situated 22 kms away from Chandigarh on Ambala-Shimla road. 

The history reveals that Pinjore garden was created in 17th Century by Nawab Fidai Khan.

The garden reflects various architectural signs with scenic beauty. The garden has several elevation of terraces and they named as "Hawa Mahal", "Shish Mahal", "Rang Mahal", "Hawa Mahal", etc.

After entering into the Pinjore Garden we all were engaged with few fun-filled team building activities, which enjoyed a lot. After which we started exploring those garden terrace levels. 

The garden reminded me of Vrindavan Garden in Mysore, which has also a similar kind of look with scenic beauty and natural architectures.

We had several photo sessions with our team members. It was very much refreshing all day...

Town Hall Meet of December' 2015 @ Radisson HITEC City

Yesterday (21 December 2015), we conducted the Town Hall Meet for the month of December' 2015 for all our employees in one of our Banquet Hall.

Radisson Christmas Ginger-Bread-House - 2015

We at Radisson Hyderabad HITEC City, decorated Ginger Bread House on occasion of Christmas in our Food and Beverage Outlet area on 2nd Floor. 

The bread house was well-decorated by the team of bakery section led by Ms. Sayani Sil (Chef De Partie - Bakery). 

We follow this tradition every year just before Christmas starts, so as this year...

We, the HODs at Radisson HITEC City seized the opportunity to take a snap all together along with the ginger bread house.

Nature's Beauty captured in camera...

While being in Chandigarh for the Annual HR and Trainer's Meet, we visited Pinjal Garden in Chandigarh, which is almost look alike Vrindavan Garden in Mysore. The garden is maintained beautifully with lots of green natural architects and of course the array of flowers which have added life to the garden.

Review of Hometel, Chandigarh....

Hometel, Chandigarh is one of the Sarovar Group of Hotel out of 69 hotels across the globe (statistics as of now). We had Sarovar's Annual HR and Trainer's Meet 2015 in Hometel, Chandigarh. As I always like to pen down for something which I have experienced by myself, so today I am going to mention few of my observations about Hometel, Chandigarh.

Although the brand HOMETEL is Economic vibrant brand with limited services offered by Sarovar Group of Hotels, but the hotel is very competitive in the locality. Rooms are as usual as per Hometel standard with coozy bed and limited space, but maintained very sophisticated standard. The food was awesome with authentic tastes. The employees were always up-to ready to serve standard, very polite, and attentive.

I must mention few of their employees - PRINCE, DHANANJAY, VIKAS, NARENDRA, VIDESH, AVIJIT, KAPIL and many more....

Hotel has reception in 2nd floor and also has enough external space. Banquet halls are big and well maintained.

A Road Trip to Remember in Dec' 2015

After successful ending of Sarovar's Annual Meet, we checked out from Hometel Hotel, where we were residing for the conference. We hired a Taxi for our trip to Delhi Airport from Chandigarh and we were six members to travel together. We had our Chauffeur named, LUCKY who hails from Chandigarh (Punjabi by Born). Lucky seems to be very charming, jolly and honest kind of character.

For a journey of six hours, it was very necessary to have an active chauffeur with good driving skill. And we were lucky to have LUCKY with us.

A guy with very generous mind is Lucky.... The entire travel of six hours he made it to four hours only that too with breaks for refreshments in between. We were overwhelmed by his sweet behavour.

Received "Best Training Manager" of the year 2015 Award

After serving a leading hotel group for about more than 5 years, here comes the FRUIT. On 18th December 2015, I was awarded as the "Best Training Manager" of the year 2014-15 during the Annual HR and Trainer's Meet in Chandigarh.

I started my journey of being Training Manager in October 2010, and over the period of time getting upgraded from one hotel to another in the Group, today I am with Radisson HITEC City Hyderabad. 

It was during our Annual HR & Trainer's Meet, which was happening in Chandigarh this year. Last day of which was the award giving ceremony and the much awaited time came to an end. For the last three years, I was being nominated for the Best Training Manager category, but finally the trophy was of the winner (my colleague of other unit). 

But this year, time was inclined towards my side... It was my great achievement being Training Manager to be awarded as "Best Training Manager" of the year.

I am very happy and thanks to almighty for his blessings on me to be patient and serve the organization with full dedication and commitment over the years.
