An Experience of NAAC Peer Team visit to T. John College….

On 18^th and 19^th October 2010, a Peer Team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited our College for Re-accreditation process. It was a wonderful experience for me being part of the entire process led by NAAC Peer Team members.

The team was headed by Prof. Basudev Barman, Chairperson, Dr. V. L. Maheshwari, Member and Dr. M. D. Jahagirdar, Member Coordinator. All the above NAAC peer team members were from various states other than Karnataka.

I had been witnessed of each and every aspects of their evaluation process. We, the NAAC Core team members (comprising myself, Mrs. Mohini Bhat, Mr. Rajesh Naik, Dr. Anuradha Arya, Dr. Nilanjana Basu, Dr. George Easaw, Mrs. Shikha Tiwari, Prof. H. G. Rajshekhara) of T. John College prepared the necessary ground work already in advance for smooth conducting of the entire inspection.

On completion of the inspection, NAAC Chairperson handed over the report to our Principal Dr. George Easaw during exit meeting, hope we will get the much needed “A” Grade (results to be declared by first week of November).

 This experience is like a feather to my hat.
