Some of you must be having childhood memories - while playing with friends, or making some crafts out of anything handy available. I have the latter one something memorable, which was refreshed very recently after seeing one object after so long time.
'Crab's Eye' seeds, which is known as 'Rosery Pea', a native to India and tropical Asia. It is mostly used as ornaments and an art object.
It is called 'Crab's eye' as it exactly looks the same like crab's eyes.
This plant is kind of woody, climber and branching. It can grow up to 10 meters long. It uses a strong tree to climb as base. It has multi pods branched together looks like peas. Inside the pods, the seeds look colour vibrant once matured, then it is plucked by hand.In some countries, the infusions are used for medicines, e.g. in Africa, South America people uses the infusions to treat inflammations such as conjunctivitis. Chinese uses it to aide fever. In Ayurvedic medicine, roots and leaves are used to treat asthma, bronchitis, and respiratory ailments.
